At St. Lucy School, it is our aim that each student grow in his/her love of God, learn according to his/her God-given ability, feel accepted, develop self-esteem and grow in awareness of the needs of others in our challenging and ever-changing society. 2009-2010 MARKS ST. LUCY SCHOOL'S 60TH ANNIVERSARY SINCE OPENING ITS SCHOOL DOORS IN 1949

St. Lucy School celebrates its 60th Anniversary in the 2009-2010 school year of "Sharing the Light of Faith and Knowledge" in the Long Beach community. The theme for this 60th Anniversary is:

We are currently looking for volunteers for the St. Lucy School 60th Anniversary Committee. We are planning a few small events plus one big event celebration for the 60th Anniversary school year 2009-2010. St. Lucy School is surrounded by talented individuals who hold St. Lucy School close to their hearts. If you would like to sign up as a volunteer, please call or email us. Please note: Current school parents will receive volunteer hours for working on this anniversary committee.

The volunteer meetings for the first 60th anniversary event, "ST. LUCY HOMECOMING REUNION" are scheduled every Thursday from September through October 4th at 6:00PM at the Starbucks Coffee on Long Beach Blvd. and Willow St.
